Dyeing temperature of nylon and polyester webbing

The dyeing temperature of nylon and polyester webbing primarily depends on the fiber material properties and dye type:
Nylon Webbing
Dyeing temperature: Usually around 100℃, using a weakly acidic dye and a steaming process for dyeing.
Process characteristics: Nylon fibers have reactive functional groups and require steaming to bond the dye molecules to the fibers. Low-temperature dyeing avoids fiber damage.
Polyester Webbing
Dyeing temperature: Mainly uses disperse dyes, processed by heat melting or high-temperature and high-pressure methods. Heat melting dyeing temperature is approximately 190℃, and the high-temperature and high-pressure method is around 130℃.
Applicable scenarios: Polyester fibers are dense and require higher temperatures for the dye to fully penetrate the interior of the fiber.
The dyeing temperature of blended webbing (such as polyester/nylon blends) is usually controlled at 100-120℃, balancing the dyeing characteristics of both fibers.
